Formed at Magdalen Hill Camp near Winchester
between November and December 1914 from the Regular Battalions returning
from overseas garrisons. Arrived in France in December 1914. Served
in France and Flanders until November 1915 when the Division moved to
Macedonia. Served in Macedonia until the Armistice (30 September 1918).
