30th Division

Formed at Grantham in April 1915 from the Locally Raised or Pals Battalions raised in the Liverpool and Manchester areas. Arrived in France in November 1915. Served in France and Flanders until May 1918 when the Division was reduced to Cadre. The Division was reconstituted in June 1918 and then served in France and Flanders until the Armistice.
