North Midland Mounted Brigade

The Eastern Mounted Brigade was a Territorial Force brigade already in existence at the outbreak of the war. At the outbreak of the war it was based at Leicester. The brigade moved to East Anglia and joined the 1st Mounted Division in Aug 1914.
