2nd South Midland Mounted Brigade

The 2nd South Midland Mounted Brigade was a Territorial Force brigade already in existence at the outbreak of the war. At the outbreak of the war it was based at Oxford. The brigade moved to East Anglia in Aug 1914 and joined the 1st Mounted Division.
